Esports Tournament Rules

Welcome to the official Among the Stars esports competitions! To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants, this rulebook outlines the standards, requirements, and restrictions all players must follow.

1. Eligibility
  • Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 13 years old. Players under 18 require parental or guardian consent.
  • Account Requirements: Multiple accounts or sharing accounts during competitions is strictly prohibited.
  • Cash Prize Eligibility: To receive cash prizes, players must have a PayPal account. This ensures efficient and secure prize distribution. Players are responsible for meeting PayPal’s eligibility requirements in their region.
  • Discord Community Server: All participants must be members of the official Among the Stars community Discord server to participate in tournaments. Important announcements, tournaments schedules, and updates will be communicated through this server.
2. Cheating and Fair Play

To maintain a level playing field, Among the Stars enforces strict anti-cheating measures. Cheating is defined as any unauthorized software, hardware, or behavior that grants players an unfair advantage, such as:

  • Third-party Software: The use of any external tools or software that alter gameplay (e.g., aim-assist, auto-clickers, speed hacks) is prohibited.
  • Hardware Modifications: Players are forbidden from using modified hardware that changes gameplay inputs, such as customized controllers with automated functions.
  • Macros and Scripts: Use of macros or scripting tools for automated actions is considered cheating.
  • Exploitation of Bugs: Players must not exploit bugs or glitches to gain an advantage.
  • Ghost Play: Playing through recorded gameplay or allowing another person to play under one’s account is strictly forbidden.

After the tournament, you have 24 hours to claim your earnings on our Discord server by opening a ticket, otherwise they will be lost forever.

Users who violate these rules may be flagged or banned. Thank you for helping keep Among the Stars a welcoming place for everyone!
